Jim Thomas - DJ, MC, and Owner of Elm City DJ
Hi my name is Jim Thomas, DJ, MC and owner of Elm City DJ service in Waterville, ME. I am a proud to be a laid-back, yet hard-working, fun-loving, Central Maine area man. Of course, being a DJ is my outlet for a sometimes stress-filled, hectic week. Entertaining is something I simply love to do; it's my passion and I love seeing a packed dance floor, smiling faces, and folks just plain ole' having fun!
In my younger days I was an aspiring actor. Past acting experiences include performances at Lakewood Theater in Showhegan, ME, a stand-in on a Stephen King movie on location in Bangor, ME, and a few local TV commercials. All of which I credit to helping me become a skilled Master of Ceremonies, and to be a confident public speaker as Master of Ceremonies. I also am a audio/visual equipment technician, responsible for the smooth operation of the computer, sound system, lighting, and projector.
With over 400 weddings and countless other events that I have personally performed, you'll have peace of mind knowing your event will be one to remember for many years to come.
